Extira Doors are perfect to finish off your building. Extira is unharmed by everyday wear and tear. This well constructed door will not rot, splinter, warp, dent, or delaminate like standard wood and steel doors.
Extira is made with the same proprietary TEC™ process used to make MiraTEC, Extira is a revolutionary product for exterior applications that performs better than wood or MDF. Extira panels may look like MDF, but they don’t perform like it. Different ingredients and a patented and proprietary manufacturing process lead to a superior performance.
Extira is easy to work with; can be carved, routed and machined. Resists moisture, rot, and termites. Twice as strong as MDF, Extira is made to be used outside.
These doors are a primed product. You will want to use a paint that any exterior paint. All warranties are void if not painted with the proper paint.
This Door slab is 23-3/4" x 47-7/8" or 23-3/4" x 59-3/4" and the thickness of the door is 1-3/4".The doors are not hinge prep or knob prep.
You can purchase the doors as just the slabs only, or you can purchase them as the door slab and jamb kit. The jamb kit is design, so that you can hang it to be left or right hand and in swing or out swing. The kit comes with 3 Pre-Drilled Trip Pieces, Weather Stripping, Aluminum Threshold and Black Butt Hinges.
