Barrel Bolts are used on double doors to make one door stationary, You attach one to the top and another to the bottom. Just release the bolts to open the stationary door. They are yellow zinc plated, spring loaded to provide locking abilities, base plate measures 1" x 1- 5/8". Picture shows two barrel bolts on open position, one closed position. Barrel Bolts are sold in pairs and come with screws needed to attach to sheds.

barrel bolt
these were very hard to find for my shed doors but probed to be better than the original ones.

Excellent product!
I bought these for a small garden shed and they worked and continue to work perfectly. The spring loaded function works well. My shed is one year old and they are still working perfectly. In fact, I'm on this site to buy more for a larger shed. I have to replace the poorly made barrel bolts that were installed by a big box store employee. You can't go wrong with these barrel bolts.
