Aluminum Exhaust Vent 4" x 16"

I purchased these because I wanted 2 vents that would not have to be framed in and could be simple screwed to the flat exterior of my shed with only holes drilled in the siding to allow air from the outside to flow inside and vent heat out in the summer, it can get hot enough without venting to melt plastic storage tubs, that is a fact here in Texas anyway. Though they were priced right and packaged well by the shipper/seller, the Post Office got to them and they arrived bent in a few places [ They are thin aluminum ] however I was able to straighten them out so any damage is not very obvious unless you already know where they were repaired and I will use them as they are and do not blame this on the seller ''Shed Windows and More'' since very precaution was taken prior to releasing the package to the Post Office. This company/outfit is one that I want to be around for future Shed accessories and or parts I will no doubt need and seems to be what some of us call a ''Mom and Pop'' family operation doing the best they can price wise and do a good job at that as it is, shipping wise and with free shipping supplied I have very little to complain about and will continue to do business with them as well as recommend them to others. The exhaust vent comes with necessary screws to install on a flat surface, requires no special framing or cutting if you don't desire anything more than protection for an opening cut or drilled into the siding of your shed, has a screen in it to keep bugs out and louvered to keep rain out as long as it is not ''Driving Rain'' which comes in with wind and sideways in many cases, all should remain dry inside the shed the way one would expect. Experience from other louvered vent covers and not this pair just purchased however. Can be used on a framed vent cut out as well if need be as in the outside of any shed that has been insulated and an inner wall installed too. In either case caulk under the vent edges and or seams when final installation takes place.
