These 24" x 27" windows are vertical sliding single pane windows. They should not be mounted horizontally. The grids are on the outside of the windowpane. They come with a screen; it does not slide but is removable.

Excellent product
Windows arrived within a few days. This is the second set I have ordered. They fit and work and look great. Good product for a great price. I fully recommend this product.

Windows came dented at the corners
Windows will work fine but the edges at the corners were seriously bent. I'll need to find a tool to get them to become straight. And this type of metal doesn't like to be bent too much. I will put a casing of AZEK around the window to add a little protection. I think the packaging was decent but more needs to be done perhaps from the factory to protect the nailing flange edge.

The frame had one corner bent, but I was able to straighten it. I think for it will be a fine window for its purpose. Easy to install.
