These 14" x 21" windows are vertical sliding single pane windows. They should not be mounted horizontally. The grids are on the outside of the windowpane. They come with a screen; it does not slide but is removable.

They'll work
I ordered these windows for my low budget chicken coop. I was so happy to find this site after window shopping with NO luck. Windows are ungodly expensive! After receiving them I remembered the saying, "You get what you pay for." The corner is bent on one (I can pound that flat myself, the screen is simply held in place by a rubber gasket that I had to push into place, (I will probably caulk that to keep it from slipping out again) I was honestly expecting a better quality, but for what the price is, I guess it's as good as they're going to get. Still haven't found any other options.
